Parallel to the Creek, is the Plant and Pot Souq, easily recognized by the rows of green netting providing shade for the plants. A very popular market and a place to go if you want to test your green fingers.

A garden is a delight in the UAE, as plants grow well, particularly with a little care and lots of water.

You will find on sale a wide and exciting array of outdoor and indoor plants, shrubs, trees, potting soil, fertilizer, garden tools, seeds and a wide variety of clay and plastic pots.


The vendors are always happy to advise you. Some plants such as bougainvillea, oleanders, hibiscus, periwinkles, frangipani and creepers are trusted and tried favorites.

Bargaining is expected. Prices are reasonable.
